Research In Motion Ltd(NASDAQ:BBRY) is gearing up for the launch of Z10 smartphone in India on the 25^th of this month. The teaser for the event which will be held in Mumbai has already been sent. According to reports that were published earlier, BlackBerry was supposed to make the announcement of the launch of their smartphone on the 24^th of February in the year 2012. Speculation is on about the pricing of this model and if industry experts are to be believed, the Z10 will be priced at INR 39,000. Soon after the launch, the model will be up for sale and the buyers will be able to choose from a color option of black and white.

For those who are still not fully aware of the BlackBerry Z10, it is a touch screen smartphone featuring an LCD screen of 4.2 inches and having a resolution of 1280×768. The BlackBerry 10 operating system will be running the entire show and the phone will include a dual core processor with 16GB internal storage and 2GB RAM. There is a rear camera of 8 megapixel and a 2 megapixel camera in the front.

The BlackBerry Z10 has already been made available in Canada and the United Kingdom and the response there has been pretty warm. By the month of March this year, BlackBerry is also scheduled to launch its QWERTY smartphone named as Q10. This too will be run by the BlackBerry 10 operating system .

Expectations are high that the company will launch six BlackBerry 10 smartphones and will be made available in the market by the end of the year 2013. However, according to some reports, the company will not be launching any entry level BlackBerry 10 smartphone this year.

Though rumors have been floated that the Z10 will be priced at INR 39,000, some believe that to be able to succeed in this competitive market, a price that is closer to the figure of INR 35,000 might turn out to be beneficial.
